Our mission is to improve patient care and public health by maximizing the feasibility, innovative capacity, and impact of clinical trials being conducted by Washington University investigators.
- Trial-CARE has completed 65 consultations for studies being reviewed by the COVID-19 Clinical Trials Committee.
- Trial-CARE has completed 68 consultations as the Trial Innovation Network (TIN) Hub Liaison.
- Trial-CARE has conducted over 112 fast-track consultations across 19 departments at Washington University and partner CTSA institutions, with 5 investigators from ICTS partner institutions (e.g., SLU or MU).
- We have worked with investigators in various stages of their careers, including Assistant Professor (23%), Associate Professor (25%), Professor (48%), and Other (4%).
- 56% of Trial-CARE investigators were planning or actively conducting a multi-center trial at the time of the initial consultation.
- Trial-CARE has experience across a range of funding entities. Of the investigators we have worked with:
- 55% were seeking or had secured NIH funding
- 25% were seeking or had secured industry-funding
- Trial-CARE has also worked with investigators with funding from foundations, Department of Defense (DOD), Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) , and/or the WashU Department.
