Karen Steger-May, MA, ACRP-CP

Karen Steger-May is a Medical Informaticist III in the Center for Biostatistics and Data Science (CBDS) with over 25 years of experience with the design, conduct, and scientific oversight of clinical trials, protocol development, statistical analyses, and data management. She has been the principal biostatistician and data manager for several single- and multi-center clinical trials. Karen has detailed knowledge and experience in all clinical trial processes including the design and implementation of clinical studies, clinical trial methodology, and clinical trial management. She is the Director of Consulting Services for the CBDS where she facilitates support for researchers in a wide range of areas including the design of biomedical studies, protocol development, database management, and analysis and interpretation of data. Karen has a master’s degree in Measurement and Statistics and is a Certified Professional of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals with demonstrated proficiency in clinical research regulations.
