SORT is an 8-site, NIH-funded (NCI), comparative effectiveness study to investigate disease free survival in patients undergoing surgery versus SBRT for stage I Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).

Trial-CARE staff provided project management to the study during the planning and start-up phase. Initially, Trial-CARE staff assisted the study leadership with acquiring site sub-contracts, development of the protocol, creation of the MOP, REDCap design & build, staff training, site initiations, and management of tasks.

Trial-CARE staff continues to maintain the aforementioned items while providing ongoing project management services including verification of data, submission of required reporting elements, delivery of ongoing training, communication to site staff & regulatory coordinator, budget oversite, and meeting facilitation.
